2007/08 MD Statewide Ortho Mosaics (ECW)  
 
The ESRGC has converted the extensive tile libraries of the 07/08 MD Statewide Ortho Collection for each county into a single ECW compressed mosaic. For more information on the ECW filetype visit here. For more information on the MD Ortho Imagery Partnership or visit here.

We have notice performance improvements over the raw MrSID tile format. With the ECW, the user should notice faster draw/refresh times. They also eliminate the need for loading multiple tiles or building Raster Catalogs for a project. The entire county is in a single file.

We currently offer True Color ECW Mosaics for the following counties (NAD83M):

  • Calvert County
  • Caroline County
  • Somerset County
  • Talbot County
  • Wicomico County
  • Worcester County

We currently offer Color Infrared ECW Mosaics for the following counties (NAD83FT):

  • Caroline County
  • Cecil County
  • Harford County
  • Somerset County
  • Wicomico County
  • Worcester County

We are constantly processing counties, please check as this list will expand often.
Data Fees

Fee breakdown for the ECW Mosaics:

Data Maintenance: $156.50* (per county/unit)

Reproduction (DVD/EHD): $43.50 (per county/unit), or $243.50 (for orders of 6 or more units)

The links below are the required documents needed to order 2007/08 ECW Mosaics. Please save, print, and complete these documents before making an official request for data.
ESRGC Dataset Distribution Agreement (36 KB) - This agreement is between the Distributor (ESRGC) and the Distributee (data user), acknowledging the request for data. Herein are the terms and conditions set by the Distributor in reference to the proper use, handling and disposal of the data, by the Distributee.

2007/08 ECW Mosaic Order Form (34 KB) - The order form is where specifications of the order are made. The requested mosaics and any special instructions for the deliverable data are to be included on the order form. Fee calculations can be made on this form, or you can email us at esrgc@salisbury.edu, with your order and we can calculate the price for you.

Credit Card Form (13 KB) - Use this form if you would like to pay for your order with Credit Card. We only accept Visa or Mastercard.
